What other alternatives aside from crunches can I do to flatten my tummy?

I’m somehow fit on my other body parts, but after giving birth I’ve been having problems flattening my tummy. Help anyone?

Early yesterday morning I was watching an infomercial for HipHopAbs. I almost bought the DVD’s and am still pondering it. It is a lot of moving around and it all focuses on the abs and middle section, and no crunches. It had assured with using the DVD’s, and following a diet that you can tone and lose inches in that area.
